My husband has been getting increasingly ill. He has been told that he has althralgia, osteoathritis, chondrocalcinosis, a sleep disorder, torn rotator cuff with muscle tears and now fibromyalgia. We live in a heavy tick infested area and our dog has been treated 3 times with docycycline. My husband remembers having taken a tick off of him almost 2 years ago but had no rash. He followed with bouts of night sweats and flu like symptoms. We never put it together, he has that fuzzy kind of head which he calls forgetfulness and ringing in his ears. We need a doctor who will listen to us. He tested negative on ELIZA and no one will do the Western blot. We have been to Brigham and Women's Hospital, 4 doctors as well as two rheumatologists at MGH. Where do we go? Thanks for any info you can send our way.
